Parent Logins

New in version 3.2.0 is the ability for parents to have their own login into Online Grades. The advantage of a parent account is for parents who have more than one child whose grades are getting posted in a single Online Grades instance. In this case the parents are able to have a single login and access grades for all of their students without logging out and in for each student.
Parent accounts can be created two ways—either the Online Grades Administrator (or Semi-Administrator) sets up each parent account manually, or (optionally) you allow parents to self-register for a parent account via the parent login interface. The ability to turn on or off self-registration is controlled by the administrator in the configuration interface. Adding parent accounts via the admin interface is covered in the administration section of the Online Grades manuals.
